1. Where are all your boats? Most of those on your website indicate "sold".
90% of our business is taking custom orders for our customers. The process is so easy. Simply fill out, sign and return our Customer Locate form and place your deposit. We will then send you the entire sale list of boats to choose from each week from authorized "dealer only" wholesale auctions. You choose boat and we buy it on your behalf.
2. What do you charge?
We simply charge a 10% brokerage fee and transportation costs to our Bellingham location.
3. How much can I expect to save over the retail prices?
The amount of savings depends on the price of said item that we are buying on your behalf.
For example, if the boat retails in the US for $40,000, then our wholesale cost to you would total roughly $25,000, even after paying a 10% brokerage fee and transportation costs to our Bellingham, WA location in addition to this number...saving you roughly $12,000 over the US retail price!
For international customers i.e. Canada, Hawaii, Australia and Europe, the savings are far greater than $12,000, usually double the savings with retail prices being what they are. Put us to the test and check the prices of comparable boats in your area!
4. What about the condition of these boats? How do we know they run?
All bonded, certified, registered boat dealers see the same information that we do. Every boat has a full condition report provided by the auctions, meaning compression tests are performed on the motors as well as hull inspections, interior inspections and exterior inspections for sun bleach damage and tears to upholstrey.
5. How much does it cost to sign up?
Our deposit structure is as follows for boats that we are selling to you for the following amounts:
$0 - $20,000 = $2,000 deposit (US)
$20,000 - $30,000 = $5,000 deposit (US)
$30,000 - $50,000 = $10,000 deposit (US)
$50,000 - higher = "let's talk"
6. What if the boat arrives and it is not what I expected "condition wise"?
In the event the selling "dealer only auction" has misrepresented the boat on the condition report, your deposit is 100% refundable and you will be released from any obligation to purchase it. Could this happen? Not really, as we pick up each vessel in person with one of our tow vehicles by one of our knowledgeable, qualified staff representatives at said auction. If it is not right, we simply do not buy it and tow it home.
7. I live outside the USA. What duties will I pay? What about shipping?
Currently at this time, there are no duties for importation into Canada, as boats are manufactured under the NAFTA free trade agreement. We will ship your boat out of the Port of Seattle to Europe, Hawaii, Australia or anywhere else in the world. Please research your Country's importation fees to estimate your total cost.
